Selefina builds on the expertise of its parent company, Adagio Teas, which has spent nearly 30 years sourcing gourmet loose leaf teas directly from origin and serving an enthusiastic online community. By leveraging Adagio’s global procurement network and established processes for tasting and quality control, we’re able to source both familiar spice staples and more unexpected, globally inspired spices directly from where they are grown. Relying on Adagio’s packaging, ecommerce, and fulfillment infrastructure keeps freshness high and costs low, avoiding the long shelf-time typical of grocery-store spices and multitudes of middlemen.

The trial-size samples are our signature effort to give home cooks an easy way to try new flavors. At just 50¢ each, our Try-Me samples make it simple for someone to explore a unique spice or use a small amount of a familiar but rarely used ingredient without committing to the cost of a full jar.
